More dynamic than ever, the boutique complements the Musée des Arts Décoratifs events programme with special thematic displays of objects, often exclusivities, related to current exhibitions.

Mathilde Brétillot’s new boutique design and its extremely modular furniture is ideal for these special presentations, and the window displays on rue de Rivoli are constantly renewed by leading contemporary designers and creators.

All the Musée des Arts Décoratifs’ specialities are naturally well in evidence, with the accent on the ancestral craftsmanship of the great manufacturers, particularly French, and traditional ornamentation.

The focus is also on design and the avant-garde in the selections and discoveries proposed by the boutique, ranging from jewellery, fashion accessories and decorative objects to the world of childhood, graphic design and stationery. Actively highlighting the work of young creators, the boutique is a forum for both research and creation.

Furthering the eternal dialogue between the beautiful and the useful, the boutique is the Parisian showcase for the decorative arts.
