In 1882, the Musée des Arts Décoratifs was founded by creators, collectors and industrialists who wanted to open a place entirely dedicated to applied arts.
Today our institution is renowned in France and abroad for its exceptional collections.
As a not-for-profit association, the MAD essentially owe this success to the generosity of its patrons.
To pursue the great work engaged by its founders, the Musée des Arts Décoratifs has decided to create an International Committee.
By becoming a member of the International Committee you will be associated with the key moments in the life of our institution by having privileged admission to all our events.
Join the International Committee and:
• Receive the invitations to our exhibition previews and openings and the receptions organised for these events.
• Share your ideas during the annual meeting organised at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in honour of the Comittee Members.
• Discover or rediscover the wealth of our museums’ collections and exhibitions with your member’s card (valid for two people).
• Take advantage of exceptional offers with our cultural partners (FIAC, PAD, museums, theatres, operas, concert halls, etc.).
You are entitled to deduct 66% of your donation from your income tax, limited to a maximum of 20% of your annual taxable income. If this limit is exceeded, the surplus can be spread over the next five fiscal years (law passed on 1st August 2003).
The MAD has joined TGE (Transnational Giving Europe) so that its European sponsors can benefit from the fiscal advantages granted by legislation in their country of residence. The 17 countries now members of the TGE network:
