Close to the Nouveaux Réalistes movement, Claude shared Yves Klein’s taste for imprinting and moulding. This necklace is based on the bodyprint of a mouth. These body imprints can be seen in her work and in that respect, she created, in 1969, magnificent metal bustiers for the haute couture collection of her friend and collector Yves Saint Laurent.
