This chair – a model designed for the Duchesse d’Albe in 1921 – came from the terrace of Jeanne Lanvin’s Paris apartment. A similar model was featured in the sitting room of the Callot Sœurs fashion house in the Pavillon de l’Elégance at the World’s Fair of 1925.
