André Groult designed the Anthropomorphe chest of drawers for the Bedroom of the Ambassador’s Wife for the Pavilion of a French Embassy of the Société des Artistes Décorateurs at the Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs et Industriels Modernes of 1925 with which he placed himself against the current of the geometric vocabulary of the Art Deco movement.
