Opening hours

Online reservations are highly recommended for visits scheduled on Saturdays and Sundays.

Musée des Arts Décoratifs

Permanent collections
• Tuesday to Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Ticket office closes at 5.15 p.m.

Temporary exhibitions (except “Le Japon en couleurs”)
• Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Ticket office closes at 5.15 p.m.

• Late opening on Thursdays until 9 p.m.
Ticket office closes at 8:15 p.m.

Museum and exhibitions are closed on Mondays as well as December 25, January 1, May 1 each year. The museum closes at 5 p.m. each December 24 and 31.

Musée Nissim de Camondo

• Wednesday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5.30 p.m.
Cash desk closes at 4:45 p.m.
Evacuation of the rooms from 5.10 p.m.

The museum is closed Monday and Tuesday as well as December 25, January 1, May 1 each year.

Room closures

For maintenance, hanging or other reasons, some of the museum’s rooms may be closed during your visit. A daily updated notice is available at the ticket desks and at the museum reception desk to inform you.

Please contact the Musée de Arts Décoratifs reception desk on +33 (0)1 44 55 57 50 on the morning of your visit to be informed of any room closures.

Musée des Arts décoratifs

• Disabled access to floors 6 to 9 of the Musée des Arts Décoratifs will be unavailable until December 10, 2023.

• A large part of the 19th-century galleries will be closed from Monday, September 25 to Friday, December 14 for renovation.

• Rooms 6-7-8-9 in the Middle Ages department will be closed from November 27 to December 6, 2023 for renovation.

• Rooms 3-4-5 of the Middle Ages department and the 2 rooms of the Galerie des Bijoux on the Rivoli side will be closed from November 27, 2023 to January 15, 2024 for renovation.

• The Art Deco rooms are currently closed. Reopening in 2025.

Musée Nissim de Camondo

• All the museum’s rooms are currently open.

General admission

The collections and exhibitions of the Musée des Arts Décoratifs and the Musée Nissim de Camondo are free for visitors under the age of 26 (subject to availability).

Security

Following the terror attacks in Paris on Friday, November 13, 2015 and to ensure the safety of our visitors, the museum is strictly applying the security measures decided by the French authorities.

The museum is fully opened but luggages and big items are not allowed.

Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience and delay which may be caused by the extra security checks at the entrance.
