A graduate of the Royal College of Art, Jasper Morrison opened a design agency in London in 1986 and afterwards in Paris.
This chair is the result of three dimensions of cutting a sheet of birch plywood. Its elegant and stylised line is characteristic of Jasper Morrison’s minimal style, which prioritises the functionality of the object. The Ply-Chairs, of which a full backed version also exists, are the first collaboration of the British designer with Vitra.
